Little, tiny, wonderful, heavenly thing
It was so beautiful and felt so good.
This morning, Jack hadn’t made his way into our bed in the middle of the night. I heard Scott get up to shower, clang the dresser drawers and then kiss me before he left for work. Jack didn’t wake up to the closing door.
And then it happened.
I pulled my pillow to the center, wrapping the blankets tightly around me as I curled up in a tiny ball.
I had the whole bed to myself.
And I fell back asleep in the dark quiet and slept for a whole hour. Until 8 a.m. That kid must really want to show his mama his love.
This is a wonderful morning, indeed.
